Who is AMHI?
Our current real estate and financial markets are making it increasingly difficult for many musicians to afford housing in Austin. Meanwhile, more than 11,000 jobs are attributed to the city's music industry and its influences. Music generates around $10 million anually in city tax revenues and has contributed more than a half billion dollars a year to Austin's economy over all.
We believe musicians should not be priced out of places to live because of the very improvements that they, in part, bring about in Austin's quality of life.
